Rumus Past Future Tense
Berikut ini adalah rumus past future yang secara umum sebagai berikutPast Tense + Future Tense = Past Future Tense
Would/Should + Verb 1 (Bare Infinitive) = Would Be
Rumus diatas merupakan penerjemahan sederhana dari auxiliary yang digunakan dalam past future tense. Syarat tersebut tidak boleh dilupakan dalam membuat kalimat dengan tense Past Future. Pada rumus Past Future Tense diatas terdapat kata Infinitive, apa sebenarnya pengertian dari Infinitive ?
Infinitive merupakan kata kerja dasar yang belum terikat dengan suatu kalimat. Infinitive terbagi menjadi dua, yaitu Infinitive dengan particle to (To Infinitive) dan Infinitive tanpa to (Bare Infinitive) atau bentuk dasar dari verb. Pada Past Future Tense Infinitive yang kita pakai adalah Bare Infinitive.
Untuk rumus membuat kalimat dengan menggunakan past future tense, maka kalian dapat mengikuti rumus past future tense yang kami berikan sebagai berikut:

Kalian diperbolehkan untuk memilih, apakah kalian ingin menggunakan will atau to be going to. Tentu saja, karena ini adalah past tense, maka kalian harus menggunakan was atau were, bukan am, is, are.

You were not going to write the script on your own, we will help you.
We were going to see the circus.
Was she going to call her mom?
Berikut adalah contoh penggunaan dan contoh kalimat Past Future Tense dalam kaimat :

( – ) : I Should not be in Campus next week.
( ? ) : Should I be in Campus next week ?
( + ) : I knew she would go to South Korean next holiday.
( – ) : I Knew she would not go to South Korean next holiday.
( ? ) : Would I knew she go to South Korean next holiday ?
( + ) : My Father told me that he would give me a new computer after I graduated.
( – ) : My Father told me that he would not give me a new computer after I graduted.
( ? ) : Would My Father told me that he give me a new computer after I graduaated ?
( + ) : After her make her homework, her mom would give her an ice cream.
( – ) : After her make her homework, her mom would not give her an ice cream.
( ? ) : After her make her homework, would her mom give her an ice cream ?
( + ) : They would pick you up, but they needed to be at home.
( – ) : They would not pick you up, but they needed to be at home.
( ? ) : Would they pick you up, but they needed to be at home ?
( + ) : After the dog eats, it would go to sleep.
( – ) : After the dog eats, it would not go to sleep.
( ? ) : After the dog eats, woud it go to seep ?
( + ) : You would make the scrafs after I bring you the wol.
( – ) : You would not make the scrafs after I bring you the wol.
( ? ) : Would you make the scrafs after I bring you the wol ?
Yang perlu kalian ingat dalam mempelajari Past Future Tense ataupun Future Tense jenis lainnya adalah dalam kalimat future tense tidak dapat diawali oleh kata penghubung yang membentuk keterangan waktu, seperti : When (kapan), While (ketika), After (sebelum), Before (sesudah), If (jika), dan lain-lain.
